Something is wrong
A number looks incorrect, a button does nothing, a page is broken on your phone. Reports like these are genuinely useful — several fixes on this site came from someone taking the time to say what they saw.
If you can, include which calculator you were using, what you expected, and what happened instead. If you can’t, send it anyway.
An idea for a tool
Is there a question you keep trying to answer with a spreadsheet? That is exactly the kind of thing this site is meant to become.
Tell us what you were trying to work out and why the existing options did not help. Ideas that come with a real situation attached are the ones that turn into tools.
A privacy request
You can ask what information this site holds about you, ask for it to be removed, or ask how anything here works. The short answer is that we hold almost nothing: there are no accounts and no advertising, Google Analytics runs only if you accept it in the cookie window, and the numbers you type into a calculator never reach us. Our Cookie Policy explains it in full.
If you would like that confirmed in writing, or you have a question we have not answered there, please ask.
Anything else
A question, a correction, something that does not fit above. Accessibility problems belong here too — if something on this site is hard to use with a screen reader, a keyboard, or at a larger text size, we would like to know.
Before you write
Please do not send us your own financial figures. We do not need your savings balance, your account details or your personal circumstances, and we would rather not have them. We also cannot tell you what to do with your money — the calculators are here to help you explore a question, not to give advice.
If a decision matters, speak to a qualified professional who can look at your whole situation.
What happens next
Every message is read. When a reply is needed, it goes to the address you wrote from, usually within a few days.
This is one person’s work rather than a support desk, so a quiet week may mean a slower answer. It does not mean your message was ignored.
